Our friends the Shooks invited us over for a gingerbread house decorating craft. We actually used graham crackers and homemade frosting (thank you girls) and lots and lots of candy (courtesy of Walgreens.)

Keaton is actually adverse to touching the frosting, so while he helped to get the house started initially, he did not stick around to decorate. Mom finished up his house....
Here sisters Lillian and Grace perfect their houses with very detailed candy placement. Poor Lillian's house fell in 3 or 4 times, but she persevered and created a lovely candy home.

Cole and I also tag-teamed on his cottage. He was really just overjoyed to be able to play with Soren, which was totally fine. Gave Mom a chance to be creative. The kiss on the roof was totally Cole's idea - for a chimney.

Fun times!! And all the houses turned out very good considering half their roofs were sliding in a lot and going "kaputie!"
